Tanja specialises in European political and regulatory affairs. Before joining Highgate, she worked for APCO Worldwide on a project for a government agency in Bahrain and spent several years in Brussels working on competition policy, retail and governmental affairs. She also worked for the former European Commissioner for Environment and the Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the EU. She has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Ljubljana, including an Erasmus exchange at Sciences Po in Lille, and a master’s in management of European affairs from the University of Lille.
